The Dymphna Rosary
This rosary was reverently hand-crafted, and I pray for its future owner through the intercession of St. Dymphna, demon slayer ❀ It is designed with a mix of light green speckled beads and varying shades of orange beads for your decades, inspired by the flag colors of Dymphna's home, Ireland, and chosen specifically to be calming to look at (and use)! White roses are used for Our Father beads for each design in this collection, to remind us daughters of Christ the beauty and purity He placed in you! Each bead is individually threaded, linked together by hand-curled eyepins, with small chain links connecting the Our Father roses.
St. Dymphna is a lesser known saint, born in the 7th century and canonized in 1247. She is the patron saint of those struggling with anxiety, depression, nervousness, and other mental illnesses/struggles, earning her the incredible nickname, "the demon slayer" (shoutout Tanjiro). Her mother passed when she was around 14, and her father in his grief began to mentally deteriorate, pursuing his own daughter as a replacement for his wife. When he found out she had fled to Belgium from him and his disturbing advances, he ordered her executed; she was just 15 years old. St. Dymphna, pray for us!
